The Rock River Water Trail, a National Water Trail, is a 320-mile river course from the headwaters in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin,to the Mississippi River at Rock Island, Illinois. They have recently added Rock River Bike Routes on roads and trails within the river corridor to provide access for all to the natural resources, recreational opportunities, scenic beauty and historic and cultural assets of the Rock River Valley.
Bike Trail signs are being posted by communities in 
all 11 counties along the trail in Wisconsin and Illinois.
The maps are divided into eight sections and offered as both GPS and downloadable PDF files. Beloit routes include Edgerton-Beloit and Beloit-Rockford, Illinois.
