We meet at 5:30 p.m. when days are longer. When the days are shorter in the late season, we meet at 5:00 p.m. In 2019, this time change will be on September 24. The last 2019 ride will be October 29.
The rides can printed from the Spinners website or downloaded to a Smartphone or GPS device.
There are 4 categories of bicyclists who ride on Tuesdays:
- Hammers; avg speed 18 mph +++ (Avg ride is 25 miles +)
- Rabbits; avg speed 15-17 mph (Avg ride is 25 miles +)
- Cruisers; avg speed 12-14 mph (Avg ride is 20 miles or less)
- Recreational Cyclists; 12 mph or less (Avg ride is 15 miles or less)
It is important to ride with the group that fits your skill level

If a cyclist is falling off the pace, another rider should join that rider and escort them back to home base i.e. Beloit Bicycle Company, 110 W. Grand Avenue – map the location.
The decision as to the route to ride for that day is a “group decision”
We strongly encourage the use of helmets.
Riders are encouraged to bring cell phones, hydration beverage, spare inner tube and means to fill it (pump, CO2), blinking lights, and high visibility clothing on every ride
Riders are required to follow the “rules of the road” i.e. observe stop lights, stop signs, use hand signals & ride in single file when appropriate
Sharing of stories, good, bad, or indifferent, is encouraged.
All rides start and end in the rear parking lot of Beloit Bicycle Company, 110 W. Grand Avenue – map the location.
